Congratulations to Dr. Daniel Bowen and his co-investigator, Dr. Brian Kisida, from the University of Missouri who were awarded a grant in the amount of $90,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts. The project titled “An Experimental Investigation of Houston’s Arts Access Initiative on Students’ Arts and Academic Outcomes” is a randomized controlled study that focuses on increasing access to arts educational resources and opportunities for historically underserved populations.
