Advancing Women In Leadership represents the first on-line professional, refereed journal for women in leadership.

AWL Mission

Our mission is to publish manuscripts that report, synthesize, review, and analyze scholarly inquiry that focuses on women’s issues in leadership. In doing so, the journal aims to provide opportunities for scholarship that promotes a critical view on women’s issues in transformative leadership, shining a spotlight on social justice and capacity building in a global society.

AWL Vision

Our vision is to be viewed as the number one online professional publication site for scholarly inquiry and perspectives that promote gender equity and advance women in leadership both domestically and internationally. The Editors invite authors from all professional fields to submit manuscripts regarding women’s professional issues for review for publication in the journal.

It is our hope that you find Advancing Women in Leadership thought-provoking and enjoyable. Suggestions for improvement, encouragement, and submission for upcoming issues are welcomed and appreciated.
