Texas A&M University has received a National Professional Development Grant from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of English Language Acquisition.
Project Massive Open Online Professional Individual Learning (Project MOOPIL) will support micro-credentials via online learning between 2018 and 2022 for administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents. The focus of the grant is to improve schools that serve high numbers of English learners. Those who complete learning units (comprised of several MOOPILs) receive continuing education certificates (or micro- credentials).
We are seeking a Graduate Research Assistant to help with online coaching, data analysis, and literature reviews. Other duties such as recording teachers, mailing out materials, answering emails, and calling participants are also involved.
